Tennis Outaouais Performance is recognized for its high-performance programs aimed at young tennis enthusiasts aged 5 to 18, who want to give themselves the chance to reach their full potential and experience the atmosphere of regional, provincial, national and even international tournaments.
The high performance programs include different groups: COMPETITIVE groups as well as TENNIS-STUDIES. These high performance programs offer supervision from 4 to 15 hours per week, on an annual basis, with focus on the physical, psychological, technical and tactical aspects of tennis.
Please note that these programs require a marked level of interest not only from the player, but also from the parents, towards a serious and motivating program, and a commitment to the substantial investment in both financial terms and in terms of time. Players must be evaluated by one of our coaches for the limited number ofspots.
Little Aces is a recruitment and talent development program aimed at children aged 6 to 8. The objective of the program is to improve the overall development of young participants and encourage them to stay in the competitive stream. This will create a larger pool of young competitors and increase the chances of training future Canadian champions. Tennis Canada oversees the National Bank Little Aces program as part of its Tennis Development Centers (TDC) program with financial support from National Bank.
Our competitive / intensive programs bring together young people from 7 to 14 years old who want to progress to a level of playing that will also allow them to make their mark on the provincial scene. The objective can also be to access the tennis-studies program in the coming years or to direct towards morning or evening training. Athletes train a minimum of 4 hours per week and must supplement their training with matches and tournaments in order to achieve the technical and tactical goals developed with the coaches.
